It’s that time of year when the tombstones, ghosts, zombies, and eerie sounds emerge from the Davis Graveyard!
Davis Graveyard is hosting an open house Sunday, October 13, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the corner of SE Johnson Creek Blvd. and SE 43rd Ave.
The open house offers visitors to learn about how the displays are created, take a look at the behind the scenes of the set, and meet the artists and crew that put it all together.
The open house event is the only time the yard is open to the public.
The Milwaukie Dance Team will be performing Michael Jackosn’s “Thriller” in the display. The dance team is also selling treats as a fundraiser. All donations will be given to the dance team.
The Coffin Cruisers will be displaying their hearses.
Davis Graveyard is lights only Monday through Thursday from dusk to 10:00 p.m. Full effects are on Friday and Saturday from dusk to 11:00 p.m. and until 10:00 p.m. on Sundays and Thursday, October 31. Display and effects are open depending weather conditions.
