It’s almost Halloween, which means it’s almost November, and almost time for Friends of Tideman Johnson – yippee!
This month we will continue to remove invasive in the area immediately east of the wetland, and then working eastward in a swath between the boardwalk and the Springwater. We’re aiming to prep this area for planting at the Watershed Wide Event in March. Activities will include removing ivy, blackberry, clematis, and also limbing up some dead branches so access is easier.
Saturday November 4, 9am – noon
Lots of tools, snacks, great people, good times!
Meet up at the boardwalk
From at SE 37 & Tenino, south of SE Crystal Springs Blvd, walk down the hill to the boardwalk. Or from the SE 45th trailhead, bike or walk the Springwater Corridor Trail west to Tideman Johnson Park. Follow the path to the left to the boardwalk.
We hope to see you out there!
