The Friends of Tideman Johnson work party for Dec. 5 has canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Marianne Colgrove, Friends of Tideman Johnson coordinator, announced via email Tuesday the work party canceled due to the increased COVID-19 restrictions for City of Portland.
“Both Johnson Creek Watershed Council and Portland Parks & Recreation are cancelling all face to face events until December 17th,” says Marianne.
Portland Parks & Recreation owns and maintains Tideman Johnson Park.
“We are very sorry to cancel as we’ve been planning a fabulous event, including some planting,” Marianne adds.
The next work party is Feb. 6, 2021.
Tideman Johnson Park is a natural area in the Ardenwald neighborhood along Johnson Creek in the Springwater Corridor. It is within the Portland city limits and Multnomah County.
