Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association board has a vacancy for the secretary position. The secretary is a key volunteer position on the executive level representing the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association in both City of Portland and City of Milwaukie.
The secretary duties include:
- Writing and distributing meeting minutes
- Keeping records of neighborhood association business
- Maintaining sign-in sheets at neighborhood meetings
- A point of contact for Oregon Secretary of State Business Registration and a point of contact for Oregon Department of Justice Charity filing.
Interested person must be able to attend the monthly regular neighborhood meeting on the scheduled meeting dates, and any special or emergency meetings if when called. There are typically nine (9) regular meetings throughout the year.
All board positions are 1-year term with board elections in May. The secretary, if elected before May, will serve the remainder of the 2018-2019 term to May 2019, then choose.
To volunteer, individual must be:
- Either a resident, property owner, a governmental agency, business licensee, or a non-profit organization within the boundaries of Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association in Portland or Milwaukie city limits.
- At be at the age of 18 years or older.
