PCC Structurals to Hold Community Meeting On Environment Tests Oct. 24

PCC Structurals, Inc. is holding a public community meeting to provide an update on environmental concerns raised by the public.

In a letter mailed to neighborhood residents, Aaron Johnson, General Manager of the Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) facility on SE Johnson Creek Blvd., says representatives from Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and other presenters will provide information on the recent environmental test results.

The letter also states the company has taken measures, having installed emission controls and filters, and completed the construction of the new stormwater filtration system.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 24, 2016, at Lane Middle School, 7200 SE 60th Ave., Portland, Oregon. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

The last community meeting was held on May 25, 2016.

PCC’s Johnson Creek facility is located along SE Johnson Creek Blvd. immediately outside Ardenwald’s northeast boundary and located near Johnson Creek.
