City of Milwaukie is seeking nominations for the 2017 Volunteer of the Year. Nominees can include anyone who resides in Milwaukie or members of a non-profit organization or business that serves the Milwaukie community.
Nominees should have:
- Longevity of service to the community.
- Some contribution of volunteer service during the past year within the nominee’s total volunteer efforts.
- Service within the city limits of Milwaukie.
Milwaukie City Council will select the recipient in March and the award will be presented to the winner at the the city’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Event in March. Nominations are accepted through Fri., Feb. 16, 2018 at 5 p.m.
