From Lisa Gunion-Rinker, Milwaukie Park’s Foundation:
Hello Friends & Neighbors,
I wanted to reach out and invite you all to the upcoming Milwaukie Park’s Foundation (MPF) Silent Auction event on November 17th from 5-7pm at the Chapel Theatre, 4107 SE Harrison Street. This is a grass roots event to raise money for our regional Milwaukie Bay Park.
The support of Milwaukie businesses and artists for this event has been overwhelming, and there are many amazing auction items to bid on!! (*Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see some of the donated items in our silent auction or go to milwaukieparksfoundation.org.) In addition to the auction, we’ll be giving away some fantastic door prizes throughout the evening, and a jazz jam session by four top-notch area musicians and friends will be performing for the event. Local restaurants, including Milwaukie Cafe and Duffy’s Irish Pub, will be donating finger food for the event, and Chapel Theatre will have beer and wine available for purchase.
It’s going to be a great night, so come out, support Milwaukie Bay Park, and have fun!!
We’ll see you there, and remember, all proceeds will go towards the park.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door – $10 per person, $15 per couple.

We’ll have the latest plans for Milwaukie Bay Park as well as master plan concepts for Milwaukie’s other unfinished parks – Balfour, Bowman & Brae, and the north side of North Clackamas Park. We’ll also have an update on the Kronberg Park path and other enhancements, and the schedule for the opening. Another reason to come out and celebrate at the MPF event!
**If you don’t already receive the MPF’s e-newsletter, please subscribe by going to the Milwaukie Parks Foundation Facebook page and clicking on “sign up for our e-newsletter” on the left-hand side. We promise never to sell our list, and not to spam you, and this is the best way to keep up with what is going on with Milwaukie’s parks! We have been running a “Park of the Week” feature on Instagram and Facebook – an easy way to learn about Milwaukie’s many parks. Be sure to follow Milwaukie Parks Foundation and support your parks!!
Kind Regards,
Lisa Gunion-Rinker
