Friends of Tideman Johnson Work Party, Sat., Nov. 3

Boo!  You know what scares me? Creepy, crawly, invasive weeds, that’s what!

It’s almost Halloween, which means it’s almost November, and almost time for Friends of Tideman Johnson – yippee!

This month we will remove invasive in the area we call the “woodland” – just a quick hop over the split rail fence just west of the loop trail.  Activities will include removing ivy, blackberry, and some clematis that wants to smother SE Portland. We’re hoping this good rain the last few days will really loosen up the soil in there.

Saturday November 3, 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Lots of tools, snacks, great people, good times!

Meet up at the boardwalk.
From at SE 37 & Tenino, south of SE Crystal Springs Blvd, walk down the hill to the boardwalk. Or from the SE 45th trailhead, bike or walk the Springwater Corridor Trail west to Tideman Johnson Park. Follow the path to the left to the boardwalk.

We hope to see you out there!
