From Marianne Colgrove, Friends of Tideman Johnson Park
Hello all Friends of Tideman Johnson!
Wasn’t that a lovely day of spring we just had? Here’s hoping for more like that!
At the Watershed Wide Event we planted about 600 native shrubs and wildflowers (woo hoo!). Next up, we’re going to smother them with love (mulch that is) and go after some invasive blackberry, ivy and clematis.
Saturday April 3rd, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Registration is required! Please visit our Tideman Johnson event page to register
Events are filling up quickly, so we urge you to register soon.
People of all ages, experience, and abilities are welcome, though children must be accompanied by an attentive adult. We will be following standard COVID safety precautions, such as physical distancing and required face coverings, so everyone can volunteer safely. Details about our safety precautions are on our Portland Parks & Rec event page.
On Friday afternoon, an email confirmation with event logistics will be sent to everyone who has registered.
We hope to see you out there!
