If you live, walk, or bike in Ardenwald, the Milwaukie City Council needs to hear from YOU!
At 6pm on Tuesday, March 5th, city staff will be presenting to City Council about bike and pedestrian safety on Milwaukie’s 29th Avenue Greenway. Unlike most other neighborhood greenways in Milwaukie, the 29th Ave Greenway lacks safety features like stop signs on the cross-streets. Recently, a dad and his 4-year-old daughter were biking on the Greenway when they were nearly hit by a car at an intersection without stop signs. If you care about bike or pedestrian safety in Milwaukie, please attend the hearing to share your perspective with City Council.
