After all the summertime growth of various greenery, the “Welcome to Ardenwald” sign terrace on SE Johnson Creek Boulevard is looking a little shaggy. It’s time for the autumn terrace cleanup!

- Where: The south side of Johnson Creek Blvd., between SE 43rd Ave. & Brookside Dr. (click for map)
We’ll likely be picking up some litter, but mostly weeding the invasive plants that have infiltrated the terraces. We’ll provide snacks and refreshments, but please BYO gloves and your weeding tool(s) of choice: clippers, spades, shovels, rakes, etc.
No registration needed! Just turn up, say hi, have a snack, and pitch in. No need to stay for the full two hours, if you have other engagements.

…is Milwaukie’s Drug Take-Back & Document Shredding event, going from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Milwaukie Public Safety Building (click for map). Bring your expired/unwanted medications and your sensitive documents for safe and secure disposal. Flushing medications pollutes our waters, and trashing them can do damage as well, so always take them to a responsible take-back service like this one!
