Ardenwald-Johnson Creek’s Summer Concerts in the park is back this summer for five, family fun-filled nights with live concert.
With five Thursdays in the month of August this year, this means five bands will be performing this year. Each Thursday in August, the concert kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and goes on until dusk.
The band line up for 2013 is:
- August 1, 2013, 6 p.m.-dusk (National Night Out)
Eric Tweed & The Devil’s Advocate (Blues and Soul) - August 8, 2013, 7 p.m.-dusk
Tim & Jim (acoustic Power duo) - August 15, 2013, 7 p.m.-dusk
Boy & Bean (swing/jazz trio) - August 22, 2013, 7 p.m.-dusk
Gravy (Funky Blue Soulgrass) - August 29, 2013, 7 p.m.-dusk
Aaron Meyer & Tim Ellis (concert rock violinist)
In addition to the great music, raffle prizes will be given away during the concerts.
Food and beverages will be for sale at all concerts. Other food vendors may be on site selling food and beverages at some of the concerts.
All concerts are free and suitable for all ages.
Ardenwald Park is located at 3637 S.E. Roswell St., across from Ardenwald Elementary School.
