A work party will be held on Sunday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to remove invasive vegetation and tidy up the terrace along SE Johnson Creek Blvd. near SE 45th Ave.
Many native plants were planted on the terrace by Ardenwald-Johnson Creek neighbors when the new Johnson Creek Blvd. was paved. The neighborhood association agreed to keep up the area.
Blackberry, ivy, and wild clematis vines are the main culprits. Volunteers are requested to bring their work gloves, digging, and trimming tools. Face masks are required.
Volunteers will meet at the Ardenwald sign along SE Johnson Creek Blvd. near SE 45th Ave. Parking is available along SE 43rd St. (across from Davis Graveyard).
