Hello all Friends of Tideman Johnson,
As you may have surmised, the upcoming May 2nd restoration event in Tideman Johnson is canceled so you can all stay home and stay safe!
While all Portland natural areas are still open for individual (and appropriately socially distanced activities) Portland Parks & Recreation has canceled all stewardship events through June 6. This is aligned with the current closure timeline for community centers, sports fields, and playgrounds.
It just so happens that June 6 would have been our last Tideman Johnson stewardship event of the season so, for now, you can consider that canceled. That also would have been our end of season BBQ, so when gatherings are allowed again, we’ll try to figure out a way to get together. When things change, you’ll be the first to hear about it!
Meanwhile, I hope you are finding ways to get out and enjoy nature, while staying safe and healthy.
