From Marianne Colgrove, Friends of Tideman Johnson Park
Hello all Friends of Tideman Johnson,
Happy Spring!
Last month we had a fabulous time planting ~700 lovely little native cuties, including ferns, grasses, wildflowers, and even some skunk cabbage. This is the payoff for all our invasive removal, so we’re going to do it some more! We’ll be going after our traditional adversaries: blackberry, ivy, clematis, this time over the fence and near the middle island.
Saturday April 6th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lots of tools, snacks, great people, good times!
Meet up at the boardwalk: From at SE 37 & Tenino, south of SE Crystal Springs Blvd, walk down the hill to the boardwalk. Or from the SE 45th trailhead, bike or walk the Springwater Corridor Trail west to Tideman Johnson Park. Follow the path to the left to the boardwalk.
We hope you can join us!
