The Ardenwald Summer Concerts in the Park returns for another fun-filled summer of live music, great food, and fun.
Neighbors and friends gather every Thursday in August to relax on the grass in the Ardenwald Park, watching live bands perform.
This year there are five events:
- August 2: Echoes of Yasgurs – Woodstock, classic rock, folk rock, “baby boomers,” acoustic, electric.
- August 9: Ten O’Clock Hill – modern folk, Americana, and bluegrass.
- August 16: Beat Patrol – Trio band performing classic rock, blues, acoustics, and “surf-rock.”Concert Flyer 2018
- August 23: Remedy – Five-piece rock band.
- August 30: Steve Hale & The Super Soul Heroes – Four-piece soul band.
Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and continue until dusk.
On Aug. 2 only, local fire and police representatives appear for the National Night Out event, starting before the concert at 6:00 p.m.
The events for this year includes raffle prizes, free ice cream, and a bounce house. Food and beverages are for sale from The Office and Milwaukie Café & Bottle Shop.
This year the Summer Concerts in the Park is sponsored in part by Hope City Church.
