Howdy all Friends of Tideman Johnson!
The Johnson Creek Watershed Wide Event is coming up this Saturday – woo hoo! Learn more about this fabulous annual event at the JCWC website.
You know all those area’s we’ve been diligently weeding? On Saturday, we get to plant them – extra woo hoo! 800 tasty little natives have been ordered and just can’t wait to get into the ground.
This is also a great opportunity to meet other folks volunteering in the watershed AND get a delicious pizza lunch out of the deal.
If you are planning to join us, whether at Tideman Johnson or one of the other WWE sites, please do the watershed council a favor and RSVP at this handy dandy registration form.
If you are joining us at Tideman Johnson, here are the particulars:
Saturday March 4th, 9am – noon
Pizza party starts at 12:30 at the JWCW HQ
Find us near the boardwalk in the heart of Tideman Johnson Park. Tools, refreshments, and training all provided. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
From SE 37 & Tenino, south of SE Crystal Springs Blvd, walk down the hill to the boardwalk. Or from the SE 45th trailhead, bike or walk the Springwater Corridor Trail west to Tideman Johnson Park. Follow the path to the left to the boardwalk.
