The wooden brown, green, gold, and white Ardenwald sign on the terrace along SE Johnson Creek Boulevard near SE Brookstone will disappear for a little while. The sign will be removed for creating a mold for replacement signs made from resin material. Ardenwald chairman Jeff Davis is working on the sign replacement project. A completion date is not known at this time.
Two of the three original wooden Ardenwald signs, both placed on the SE 32nd Ave. traffic island at SE Meek Street were destroyed by vehicles and vandalism.
