Invasive brush have tried but failed to overtake the “Welcome to Ardenwald” sign on a terrace along SE Johnson Creek Blvd., thanks to board members Lisa Gunion-Rinker and Russ Stoll. Both Gunion-Rinker and Stoll volunteered their time and labor on a sunny October Sunday to get their hands in the dirt and remove vines, blackberry, and other invasive, non-native vegetation.
