Ardenwald-Johnson Creek’s Summer Concerts in the park is back this summer for four, family fun-filled nights with live concert.
Each Thursday in August, the concert kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and goes on until dusk.
The band line up for 2014 is:
- August 7, 6 p.m.-dusk
Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes
Blues (Guitar, Bass and Drums)
National Night Out Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. - August 14, 7 p.m.-dusk
Whispering Roses
Celtic Sacred Folk (Piano, Harp, Recorders and Violin) - August 21, 7 p.m.-dusk
Ian McFeron
Acoustic Folk (Guitar, Fiddle, Cello, Bass and Drums) - August 28, 7 p.m.-dusk
Lincoln’s Beard
Folk/Rock (Guitar, Banjo and Drums)
The National Night Out festivities kicks off the concerts on Thursday, August 7 at 6:00 p.m. with police, fire, and other public safety representative on site promoting community safety.
In addition to the great music, raffle prizes will be given away during the concerts.
Food and beverages will be for sale at all concerts. Other food vendors may be on site selling food and beverages at some of the concerts.
All concerts are free and suitable for all ages.
Ardenwald Park is located at 3667 S.E. Roswell St., across from Ardenwald Elementary School.
