Several trees along SE Johnson Creek Blvd. at SE 32nd Ave. will be coming down in about two weeks for an intersection widening project.
Jennifer Koozer, TriMet Community Affairs representative, says the trees on north side of Johnson Creek Blvd. will likely come down during the week of Feb. 24th for the intersection widening and traffic signal light installation that will happen later this year.
Koozer says the trees are being removed early because migratory birds are not currently nesting in the trees.
The discussion is expected to be on the Ardenwald regular meeting agenda for Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.
