The Friends of Tideman Johnson Park work party is Saturday, March 5, 2011, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tideman Johnson Park at the bottom of the S.E. 37th Ave. trailhead.
Friends of Tideman Johnson Park coordinator Marianne Colgrove says this may be the last day for planting and spreading mulch. She then adds there are a lot of new volunteers and hoping the experienced volunteers will provide guidance and expertise.
Work tools and refreshment will be provided at the Tideman Johnson Park work site.
The March 5th work party is also part of the Johnson Creek Watershed-wide event, which lunch will be served at the Johnson Creek Watershed Council headquarters after the work party.
