After years of fundraising and paperwork (by certain AJC neighbors too modest to ask for recognition here), the construction of Balfour Park is completed and the grand opening is upon us!
- When: Saturday, March 8, 2025, Noon – 2pm
- Where: Balfour Park (map it)
And what will the Grand Opening entail, you might ask? You’ll get:
- A variety of churros available for purchase from Don Bigote.
- An interactive bubble show from PDX Parties.
- Outdoor games: cornhole and giant Jenga!
- Parents: Get to know the Ardenwald Elementary PTO!
- Make your own buttons with Rob from Made In Milwaukie.
- The AJC neighborhood association: buy some AJC swag to help us fundraise for the August concerts, sign up to get our newsletter, and/or just chat and get to know us! (We’re all reasonably nice!)
But most importantly, just come and get to know your new park!
